Fire doors need gaps around them to enable them to open and close but, in the case of a fire these gaps allow smoke to pass through. Intumescent door seals provide protection for the gaps around fire doors.

Description

  • Designed to maintain the integrity of fire doors
  • Resists the passage of fire for up to 60 minutes
  • Contains intumescent material which expands when subjected to heat to form a seal around the fire door
  • Fully tested to BS476: Part 22: 1987
  • Available with or without smoke seal
  • White or brown colour options
